I was blessed to serve this great parish from July 2011 until October 31, 2019 and now back again beginning on August 17, 2020 as the Director of Liturgy and Music. It is so good to be back.

I earned a B.A. from Ottawa University, a M.A. from St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, Indiana in Pastoral Music and Liturgy with an emphasis in Scripture, and a certificate from Cardinal Stritch University in the Spiritual Mentoring Program the Art and Practice of Christian Companionship.

From time to time I am asked to facilitate presentations on Scripture and Spirituality around the Archdiocese. My main responsibilities revolve around liturgy and music. It is my responsibility to oversee, guide and help prepare all liturgies – from the Advent prayer services to the liturgies of the Sacred Triduum. It is my hope to prepare liturgies that are rich with the traditions of the church and rich with the charisms of this community of believers. This work involves many ministers – from presiders and the Prayer and Worship committee to ushers and sacristans.

It is a blessing to serve in such a dynamic, hospitable community, where Music Ministry is beloved, and everyone sings. It is also a blessing to work with so many gifted individuals that make liturgies at St. Catherine of Alexandria truly the work of the people.
