Choir Member. A number of opportunities are available for those who would like to sing in a choir. A schedule is available for the entire year. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings, September-May, in the Granville Room from 6:30-8 p.m. The choir generally sings at 9:30 a.m. Sunday liturgy. Contact Andy Kukec, 365-2020, ext. 15, [email protected].
Cantors. Cantors are experienced singers who enjoy singing solo for liturgies throughout the year. Note reading is a plus. Cantors work with the Director of Liturgy to prepare for upcoming liturgies. Time Commitment: Scheduled based on individual availability. Contact Andy Kukec, 365-2020, ext. 15, [email protected]
Instrumentalists. We welcome a wide variety of instruments, including piano, organ, guitar, bass, percussion, flute, clarinet, oboe, trumpet, horn, and strings. Time Commitment: Three or four times a year for special celebrations. Contact Andy Kukec, 365-2020, ext. 15, [email protected]
Women’s Schola. The Women’s Schola provides musical leadership primarily at one of the liturgies on the second Sunday of the month. It provides a wide range of liturgical choral music of all periods of the church’s tradition. Membership in the Schola is open to all singers. Though previous choral experience is not required, it is helpful. The ability to read music is very helpful and desirable. Rehearsals are every other Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. in the Granville Room. Contact Andy Kukec, 365-2020, ext. 15, [email protected]
